Teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom - Psalm 90:12

What It Means...

The word 'Number' here means 'To plan'.

This statement means 'God, please teach us to plan our days so that we can fulfil purpose and enjoy everyday life in Christ'. Simple!

The world was created by God based on His plans. The creation story in the book of Genesis is too detailed to be confusing. Every of those 6 days of creation was planned including God's holiday on the 7th day. 😁

Without applying God's word and taking deliberate actions in wisdom and faith, we cannot plan to fulfil purpose. This is because purpose does not fulfil itself. Purpose is discovered and pursued by humans BUT the mandate is given by God.

Can you fight a battle without a strategy? So, it's time to write out that vision and be on a mission.

A vision is a glorious picture of the future about an endeavour that would be beneficial to the world and only you can make people understand it. A vision is never made to satisfy one person. Success is the result and that's why people gravitate towards you when it happens. No one has ever interpreted a vision better than the owner.

When you are pursuing purpose, sometimes controversy is stirred up because not everyone understands a person's purpose till the fruits start to show.

Don't be scared of pursuing purpose because of what people will say! Pursue it anyway...

Our purpose is in the NOW. Once we discover it, we RUN with it. Purpose gives you a reason to live and sets you on a mission. If you don't know what you want, you cannot recognise it or maintain it when you receive it.

The Spirit of God is the spirit of wisdom which guides us into all truths. He is God in another dimension.

Everyday on earth, we live on borrowed time and we need esoteric knowledge to function. God's Spirit teaches us how to redeem lost time which is why so much can be accomplished within a short period of time when we allow the Holy Spirit.

Everyday is a step head on our journey in life. Commit each day to God and pursue purpose with diligence because our purpose is our life.

Every human on earth has a purpose and the day you discover your purpose is the day you start living. A man 'Exists' prior to discovering purpose but when purpose is known and pursued, a life is lived.

Purpose makes us useful and not just happy. Happiness is momentary but joy is fulfillment, internal feeling of gratification expressed and long-lasting heartfelt satisfaction. Understanding your purpose gives you joy, drive, fuels your passion and makes you become a die-hard visionary.

God is the author and finisher of our faith. We should trust Him with our lives. He gave us the Bible (Manual for living) and there in lies our purpose and how to handle the journey.

Our primary purpose in life is to live for God and draw people to Him. All other activities (Career, business, family, experiences, relationship etc) are accessories to aid the fulfillment of our purpose.
